Fear, focus, and the future. Here, C.M. Humphries writes about whatever.
I know this isn't my usual way of promoting a publication--using a blog entry, that is--but I feel I should explain "Never Taken" a little more. See, at first the story is going to seem a little bit on the gory side, but it real is about the mind-trip, the cerebral attack. The story is more about the thought than the actual events, as some horror stories tend to be.
However, there is a little more blood-slinging than usual, because--well--when you write horror stories you kind of want to do it for fun time to time again. Of course, that sounds a little irrational. Perhaps, insane. But that doesn't mean you good people won't enjoy it. So, go out and cling your hot little hands on the upcoming issue of Blood Moon Rising Magazine. It has one of the few high-physicality themes that you might ever see in my work, while still focusing on the psychological thrill. I might not be what you expect, but I'm confident you'll like it.
