Quick overview of "strife"Bob Strife slides by on government money--a farmer paid not to grow.* He's a simple man with a farm and a pond. The pond never has fish, and it's been nearly a decade since a spout cracked the soil. For a while the money is good, but anymore a second source of income would be nice. One night as Strife reflects about his financial woes at the barren pond, Mrs. Douglas visits him and makes a proposal he cannot afford to turn down. And all he has to do is help clean out the South Wing** of the Asylum before Inspection Day. The ASTERISKS Triple Spoiler--What?! *I'm debating whether I should change Mr. Bob Strife to a retired farmer or maybe an older man who lived off of the farm his family sold awhile back. Let me know if anyone has an opinion before I finalize the excerpt. So like yesterday. **The South Wing is chuck full of malicious, outdated psychiatric equipment, that quite honestly, neither Nurse Douglas or Nurse Ashland want to get rid of. Winter Solstice excerptSo the goal is to bring a snippet of "Strife" to you by December 21st 2014. Why Winter Solstice? I just figured it was a way of not pissing anyone off to be honest. Let it be that. It's my poor writer gift to you. Happy Holidays, folks! BACK TO THE BLOG
