A Quick Update...
If you keep tabs on my blog for some strange (and very likely unhealthy) reason, you might have noticed I skipped a beat between January and March. Life's been a bit busy lately as I've searched for additional writing opportunities. In this entry, I'll provide a quick update regard my writing, including the re-release of my debut horror novel Excluded, as well as shed some light on what I've been up to.
Just because I've been gone doesn't mean I haven't been writing.
I'm starting to get back to my fiction more and more lately after adjusting to writing for WhatCulture, a UK-based entertainment website. WhatCulture offers much to read about all things entertainment, particularly professional wrestling. While it might come as somewhat of a shocker, I write list articles about WWE. I've always been a closet fan of professional wrestling, and getting to indulge in an old favorite past-time while making a little dough doesn't sound half-bad.
Along with additional monthly updates in the blog, I'll be sure to share my latest works for WhatCulture. I do hope to get around to writing about horror + film, but in the meantime, go to my author profile on WhatCulture to check out my current works.
The original idea was that I would re-release my debut horror novel Excluded by the end of last year, 2017. However, after consulting with a couple of writer friends and editors, I decided I had an opportunity to make Excluded an even more terrifying piece of fiction and wanted to take advantage of the situation. While the revisions have caused a delay with the re-release, it is not all for naught, as the result should be a more gripping adventure. So stay tuned for updates regarding the book. Fingers-crossed, here's aiming for around fall 2018.
Changes Around The Site
Along with the new year, I thought my site needed a new look.
My goal is to spice up the site without completely throwing people off with a radically different design/navigation style. As I continue tweaking the site, you may encounter some errors or rather lackluster designs. Don't worry, everything will be addressed in due time. If you spot what you might deem a critical error during the makeover, be sure to email me with "CE" at the start of your subject line.
That's all for now.
