The first day was a little rough, and I hope it's not a sign of what I have to look forward to. In short, the day ran a bit longer than expected. I was hoping to crank out around ~2,333 words per day.
My plan, however, is to not allow any day to fall below 750 words and to make up for the "weaker" days on weekends. For instance, I can spare several hours on a day off to crank out 6-8k words. For instance, tonight I found a little over 30 minutes to crank out over 800 words. So, assuming I have 4-5 hours to write at some point on a free day, that's 7-8,000 words.
One reason I like using 750words for NaNoWriMo is because it breaks down not only your frequent word choices but also what they mean. For instance, 750words gives you a rough idea of your mindset while writing based on what you wrote. But we'll get more into that during a later post.
